She chose to get laser hair removal herself and was thrilled with the results
Men’s skincare collection inspired by woman with laser hair removal industry past
A North Carolina woman has gone from inspiration to celebration with her new men’s skincare line, and the idea for the product came from the laser hair removal industry.
Yahoo! Life tells the story of Rachel Roff, who founded Urban Skin Rx. The skincare collection tailored to men can now be found at Target locations around the country.
Exfoliation. Moisturizing. Razor treatment. Roff’s products address these and so much more.
She got the idea for Urban Skin Rx years ago when she worked as an aesthetician at a clinic that offered laser hair removal. She chose to get laser hair removal herself and was thrilled with the results.
During her efforts to help grow the business, she focused on potential male clients. She visited barber shops to explain the benefits of laser hair removal, and that’s where she learned some men had underlying conditions that dissuaded them from going hair-free with laser hair removal.
That inspired Roff to research other treatments and solutions for men who were hesitant to get laser hair removal.
Now, years later, she has her own products on the shelves of one of the largest retailers in the country.
